Pediatrics & Neonatology
NICU & PICU The Department of Paediatrics is a part of Centre for Mother and ChildHealth at AIMS. It includes the division of Neonatology, General Paediatrics and Adolescent medicine.
Birth Initiates a dynamic transition and development of the child in somatic, sociocognitive, behavioural, Immunological and sexual parameters/Functions.

Transport Facilities:
- A team of doctors/Nurses/Paramedics trained for transport of paediatric and sick neonates available 24X7.
- Our ambulances are equipped with Transport Incubator and Transport Ventilator for transport of patient requiring life support during transportation from periphery to Asian Tertiary care Centre For Pediatric and Neonatology (PICU and NICU).

OPD Facilities are run by well trained and experienced paediatricians from 9 A.M. to 7 P.M.
Immunization clinics are available on all days in O.P.D.
IPD Facilities:
We have excellent general paediatric wards whose ambience matches the mood and vigour of a child to help the sick children lessen the burden of their ailments during hospital stay. The faculty including the nursing and paramedical support staff are specialised to cater the management of a sick infant and the child.
Single and semi-private rooms are designed to be baby friendly.

PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit):
Provide acute tertiary care beyond the neonatal period (1 month-18 years of age).

We have (to begin with) a dedicated 6 bedded PICU unit in Centre for Mother and Child.
We are equipped to handle all critically ill children and to provide post surgical support to all patients undergoing life saving surgeries.

- High end Multifunction monitors
- Trained 24X7 medical and nursing staff to deal with critically ill children whose survival is dependent on life support systems.

 Division of Neonatology:
Overview: We at Asian appreciate that welcoming the newborn is an event to celebrate and our endeavour is to make this a happy and memorable event.
The Division of Neonatology is responsible for all newborns admitted to the Department of Paediatrics. At Asian, The division is located in the Centre for Mother and Child adjacent to the labour rooms and LDRs.

- High end state of the art Ventilators including High Frequency Ventilator
- Multifunctional Monitors
- Surfactant Delivery
- Double Surface Phototherapy
- Total parentral nutrition including Laminar flow facility within NICU for its preparation
- Separate areas designated for sick and babies requiring intensive care.
- Trained faculty of Medical and nursing personnel to handle Low Birth Weight, Extremely Premature and sick babies.

Division of Adolescent Medicine:
Overview:
The Adolescent Medicine Division in the Department of Pediatrics at ASIAN is a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, who are committed to providing excellent care for adolescents within the NCR region. We provide care with specific focus on: eating disorders, chronic pain (headache, stomach pain, and musculoskeletal pain), gynecology and school failure.
Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Department of obstetrics and Gynaecology which is located on second floor as ‘Mother and child floor’ of Asian Institute of medical Sciences offers:
- Well equipped labor rooms with fetal monitors, baby resuscitation equipments, NICU & USG
- Antenatal education program which includes classes for preparation for labor and its also followed by postnatal classes.
- Stress and pain management during labor and also painless labor round the clock under professional guidance of a team of anaesthetists
EXCELLENT SERVICES IN FIELD OF GYNAECOLOGY WITH FACILITIES, for all endoscopic surgeries like LAVH, Laproscopic myomectomy, Laproscopic adhesiolysis, Laproscopic ovarian drilling, Hysteroscopic procedures.
