The centre for surgery, managed by highly skilled surgeons, is equipped with latest surgical and diagnostic tools for conducting all types of advanced surgical procedures open as well as by minimal invasive approach (Laparoscopic Surgery) Gastric Bypass weight loss Surgery, Gallstones Surgery, Appendix, Anti reflux Surgery for GERD, All type of Hernia Surgery, Video assisted thoracic surgery, M.I.P.H.

The hospital has 11 modular Operation Theatres, fitted with state of the art LED Trilux Aurinio Lighting and equipped with a Trilux Media Bridge. The OTs are fitted with Hepafilter with Laminar flow and are equipped with the latest operative equipment including Operative Microscopes, image intensifiers with DSA, Laparoscopic equipment, Harmonic, RFA and other sources of energy like laser, CUSA among others.

Department is equipped with all latest instrument and best infrastructure in the industry The hospital has 11 modular operation theatres structured with a joint less sealed steel shell, hepafilter, laminarflow, pressure relief dampers and hermetically sealed automatic sliding doors,  all meant to minimize contamination and bacterial load. OTs are fitted with state of the art LED trilux aurino lighting and equipped with a trilux media bridge.  OTs are equipped with best optics for crystal clear vision, high quality laproscopic instruments, image intensifiers with DSA, operating microscope, electrosurgical unit such as harmonic and ligasure, and other source of energy like CUSA,Laser,RFA etc.

Department runs general surgical OPD every day and 24*7 emergency service for all traumatic and non traumatic cases. Department also runs special clinic like colorectal clinic, breast clinic and clinic for chronic wound.

Surgical oncology or cancer surgery

The Surgical Oncology Section provides care for patients with cancers of the food pipe, stomach, colon. Liver and pancreas, head and neck cancer, genitourinary cancer, breast cancer etc. Its faculty directs the preoperative evaluation, definitive operative treatment and long-term postoperative care of patients with  a multidisciplinary approach in close association  with the  radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and gynecological oncologists. Department also provides outpatient screening programs.

Colon and rectal surgery

Faculty provides comprehensive care for patients with wide variety of malignant and benign disorders of the colon, rectum & anus such as:

Hemorrhoids, Fissures, Fistulas
Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Rectal Prolapse
Diverticular Disease & Colorectal Cancer
Piles and prolapse surgery is also done without making any incision by  MIPPH .

Thoracic and Video assisted  thoracoscopic surgery

This section deals with lungs surgery, thymus surgery, pleural and mediastinal lymphnode biopsy and surgery for loculated collection of pus in thoracic cavity etc. by open as well as by minimal invasive approach.

Endocrine,breast and Salivary gland surgery

This section deals with all benign and malignant lesion of parotid gland, submandibular gland, thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal gland. Breast surgery ranges from simple excision of lump to breast conserving surgery and modified radical mastectomy for cancer breast.
