Patient Guide

 

Booking for Services As a patient visits Asian Institute of Medical Sciences, the first time, he or she is required to fill a registration form on the basis of which the patient is issued a card with their UHID number. This UHID number facilitates the hospital to maintain the database regarding the patient history and visits for all future references.

 

Admission Process At Asian Institute of Medical Sciences we have different categories of room depending on the need of every single patient; we have efficient staff to counsel the patients. Post the registration process patients are required to fulfill the monetary details depending on the procedure and treatment. Here, nothing supercedes the comfort of the patient.


Telephone24- hour STD facility is available in the hospital, for our patient’s convenience (this service is chargeable).

 

TelevisionTelevision facility is available in the hospital in all OPD areas; also televisions are made available in the Semi Private & Private Wards. The dialysis ward has individual screens for individual beds keeping in mind the optimum comfort of a patient.


Dietary Services The Dietician takes extra care to plan the diet of every patient as per the instructions of the concerned doctor & need of the patient.

Ambulance Services We provide Ambulance facility 24hours for our patients, not only this, we also provide services to our international patients by providing them the Ambulance facility for their pickups and drops to and from the Airport.


Visitor InfoWe take great care of the visitors who come to our Super specialty Hospital to see their loved ones, right from guiding them as to how to approach the patient to the information like what can be brought in the hospital and what cannot be, We help them in finding the accommodation to live nearby, if they want to. There is a Cafeteria available wherein the visitors can go have food and can relax.


TippingTipping is not permitted, expected or encouraged in our hospital. A sincere thank you is always enough.


No Smoking PolicySmoking anywhere in the hospital is strictly not allowed. People are requested to please go out of the premises for smoking because we at Asian hospital want to create a smoke free environment.


BillingOPD billing is done on the ground floor and IPD billing is done in the second basement in our hospital. Our billing staff is   very well trained and are very helpful in providing the information and guiding patients with their queries.


Corporate account/TPAAsian hospital provides the best services to corporate accounts with  best packages and discounts available. Self PayingIf Patient’s family member want, they can make their payment’s on their own and then thereafter can get the reimbursement from their insurance company of the bill and if needed our hospital will also help them in getting reimbursement, by providing them the documents of the patient.
